Tips in Performing a Mediator Search
Filling out and submitting the Mediator Search form will search Mediate.com's database of national and international mediators. The more fields you fill out, the more narrow your search becomes.
Location
- Inputting an Area Code will narrow your search to only those mediators who have indicated they practice in that area code. This is quite a narrow search, so unless you live in a very densely populated area, doing a state search, instead, may be your best bet.
- United States is selected by default as the country you are searching in. If you would like to add countries, hold down the "Control" button ("ctrl", located lower left of your keyboard) and click more countries to search.
- Selecting a state (or states, using the "Control" button as indicated, above) will narrow your search to that state.
Type of Mediation / Additional Professional Services
- Select a "Type of Mediation" practiced from the drop down box. If you would like to add another area of practice to your search, you may click the "+ Add another type of practice to search" link. This will allow you to select up to three types of mediation practiced, simultaneously.
- If you do not select a Type of Practice to search upon, our search engine will search for all mediators in the geographic region you selected, regardless of area of practice.
